The purpose of the ECCC Adventures in Leadership program is to equip each person with a Christian leadership framework to assist them in discovering and further developing their own leadership style consistent with their abilities and giftedness.
WHO: Student leaders entering grades 10-12 who confess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and are endorsed by their Pastor/Youth leader, a mentor, and a parent/guardian for participation. Maximum of 16 students.
WHAT: Adventures in Leadership is a Christian leadership training experience, designed to challenge and equip student leaders for greater impact. The purpose is to equip each person with a Christian leadership framework to assist them in discovering and developing their own leadership style consistent with their abilities and giftedness.
WHERE: Covenant Bay Bible Camp and White Goat Wilderness Area
WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 6th - Wednesday, Aug. 14th
WHY: To challenge and equip student leaders for greater leadership impact.
COST: $250, With a $100 due upon acceptance and the remaining $150 due in August.
(This includes travel to the camp.)
Each participant will:
■ Be introduced to various leadership styles, functions, and skills.
■ Become aware of personal capacities (spiritual and natural).
■ Examine characteristics needed for Christian leadership.
■ Explore servanthood as the beginning and end of Christian leadership.
■ Create and discover a personal leadership vision.
