CONNECTING
We were created for community. The word Covenant, in our name, is the best English translation for a Swedish word that more accurately could be translated - “In it together.” Early Covenanters were frequently known as “mission friends”. We believe the church is at its best when we unite and work together as mission friends.
CATALYZING
Together we join in God’s dynamic mission across Canada and throughout the world - through church planting and ministries or relief and development. We believe that the Kingdom of God doesn’t wave a particular flag, but that we’re invited to join in the bigger story of God’s Good News.
CARING
At critical moments, it’s helpful to know that you’re not alone. We value the uniqueness, resilience, strength, and interdependence of the churches and ministries of the Canada Covenant. Sometimes we need help. Support through pastoral transition, conflict management, operational challenges, and financial resourcing are practical ways we offer care across the movement.
EQUIPPING
We work together to share, create, and curate resources that practically empower pastors, leaders, and churches. Through quality ministry resources, training, learning experiences, and coaching we seek to strengthen the church.
